Peter graduated from Massey University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree. Peter started his career in mixed practice (pets and farm animals) in Waikato and then went on to spend 16 years in small animal practice in the United Kingdom. Peter joined this practice in 2003 after returning home to New Zealand with his family.

Outside of work, Peter and his family are enjoying all the aspects of the great outdoors New Zealand has got to offer.
