
Amanda graduated from Massey University in 2007. She starting off as a shelter veterinarian in her first year and has worked in companion animal clinics ever since. Amanda likes all aspects of being a vet. For enjoyment and to further increase her knowledge and skills she has completed a Masters of Veterinary Medicine. This included post graduate study in Opthalmology, Dermatology, Soft tissue surgery, Orthopedic surgery, and Emergency Medicine. This also involved going back to Massey University to spend time learning with surgical specialists at the vet hospital and completion of a reflective report on fracture repair complications. She is a busy mum of two school age girls. She enjoys running, cooking and skiing.
